Yes. Every piece is handcrafted in-house by our family using traditional techniques and modern artistry. Nothing is mass-produced or outsourced.
2. Do you use real gemstones and precious metals?
Absolutely. We use natural gemstones — including opal, turquoise, lapis lazuli, and more — and work with precious metals such as sterling silver, gold, platinum, and palladium.
3. Can I request a custom piece?
Yes, we specialize in custom jewelry! If you have a design idea or want something unique made just for you, reach out — we'd love to collaborate.
4. Where are you located?
We're based in Tombstone, Arizona where we design and craft all of our jewelry.
5. Do you repair or resize jewelry?
We offer repair and resizing services on pieces we’ve made. Contact us with details, and we’ll let you know how we can help.
6. What is the story behind the company name?
DeSantis Jewelry carries on the legacy of our father, Wayne DeSantis, who founded Milaine Jewelers in 1977. Today, we blend that heritage with a fresh, modern approach to jewelry design.
7. What makes your jewelry different from others?
Our jewelry is entirely handcrafted by expert artisans with decades of experience. We use old-world techniques, high-quality materials, and offer original designs you won’t find anywhere else.
8. How do I care for my jewelry?
We recommend keeping your pieces dry, storing them safely when not in use, and using a soft polishing cloth to maintain shine. For detailed care instructions based on materials, feel free to ask us directly.
9. Do you sell in stores or just online?
Currently, our primary storefront is online, but select pieces may be available through private showcases or by appointment. Contact us for more info.
10. Are your stones ethically sourced?
Yes. We prioritize ethical sourcing and use gemstones from trusted suppliers. Many of our turquoise stones come from a long-standing family collection built over 50 years.
